The Board of Directors
The board of directors consists of three persons. The members were elected at the last General Assembly meeting of CSSP e.V. in May 2012.
Alexandra Schwarz-Schilling is a founding member and Chairperson of the board of CSSP e.V.. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration and a Diploma in Psychology. She is founder and director of Coaching Spirale GmbH in Berlin since 2002, a center for Coaching and its education. Her methodology includes face-to-face, team and group coaching. She is also the author of two books. She is a Certified Senior and Teacher Coach of Deutsche Coaching Verband (DCV) e.V.. She is founder of Living Gaia a holistic healing biotope in Brasil.
Manuela Mangold has been a member of the board of directors at CSSP since December 2011. She holds the position of Secretary (Schriftführerin), responsible for maintaining good communication and relations among the members of the organization, preparing the General Assembly meetings, developing the Annual report, and ensuring professional organizational development. Since 2008, she has been working with CSSP as the assistant to the honorary president of CSSP, Prof. Dr. Schwarz-Schilling. She holds a diploma in Fine Arts, a bachelor in American Studies and History, and is currently finishing her master’s degree in American Studies. She has also organized summer schools for American students on the topic of migration for the past 4 years.
Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling CSSP`s Honorary President has been elected to the Board of Directors in 2012 and holds the position of the treasurer (Schatzmeister). Both, the work and the spirit of the organisation stems from his work over ten years (1995-2004) as the International Mediator in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has dedicated the last two decades of his life to promoting peace in South Eastern Europe (SEE).
Besides his support as a member of the Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling serves as mentor and senior advisor to the organisation. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Schwarz-Schilling currently holds a Chair for Political Sciences and International Relations at the School of Science and Technology in Sarajevo and he further dedicates efforts on the Chinese-Tibet conflict.
